Level II RFP-C Training
NOTE: This training is only offered to individuals who have completed Level I Training
Description: Level II RFP-C Training consists of four, 90-minute group meetings with an expert RFP-C practitioner.
All participants in this training must:
Be licensed mental health professionals and submit proof of licensure in their jurisdiction upon application for registration
Complete Level I Training prior to enrolling in Level II Training
Sign a confidentiality agreement to maintain patient privacy
Level II RFP-C Training provides further engagement in the clinical practice of RFP-C with children and their families. Attendees will be invited to present case material and receive assistance with case conceptualization and treatment implementation. In our meetings we will focus on the direct application of RFP-C theory and clinical process with children. Training includes how to (1) effectively and compassionately interpret defenses against painful affect, (2) use the Triangle of Conflict as a tool, (3) collaborate with parents and (4) how to manage and utilize countertransference in the service of positive treatment outcomes.
The goal of this training is to help licensed professionals increase their ability to effectively implement RFP-C in clinical practice. Upon completion of the course participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Center for Regulation Focused Psychotherapy.
